Course description

This course studies the phenomena associated with the atomic nucleus such as radio active decay, the physical structure of subatomic particles, the forces in our universe presently known to man, the formation and distribution of the elements in nature, processes that take place in nuclear and particle reactors and so forth.
This course should be taken by students with some understanding of the basic concepts of quantum mechanics.
